You spend so many months of the year bundled up, most days you could wear pajamas under your parkas and no one would be the wiser.

Well, the seasons are a-changin’!

The blue skies and warmer weather mean you can finally shed those outer layers and let your outfit be the star of your style show.

Our current obsession? Floral blouses. They’re light and lively, and they offer a feminine boost to any solid bottom (and according to your feedback, you love them as much as we do!).

We’ve rounded up our picks in the styles we know you wear—slim, classic, and oversized—plus a bonus of short sleeve selects.

Slim Fit Floral Tops

Why we like a slim silhouette: For those with a whittled middle, there’s no better way to show it off. Less fabric also means it’s a style that works well layered under blazers, cardigans, or other toppers.

Details to look for: Crisp collars, added details like contrast piping or ruching, and pretty buttons.

How to wear it: With less fabric to contend with, this is the style to tuck in. We love it with wide-leg pants or jeans or even with a midi skirt.

Classic Fit Floral Tops

Why we like a classic button-down: Polish polish polish. Nothing makes us feel more pulled together than a well-fitting button-down with a sharp collar.

Details we look for: Thoughtful darting while still having wiggle room through the bodice.

How to wear it: If buying true to size, it looks great (and pulled together) tucked or untucked. Buy a size up and you can leave it untucked (a bit more fabric is the plus) or even knotted at the waist.

Oversized Fit Floral Tops

Why we like an oversized fit: We love an oversized shape for its ease and wearability. This shape lends a natural cool factor to any outfit, while a print adds a touch of femininity. Works for day or night, and when done in a slightly longer length, can even work as a bathing suit cover-up.

Details we look for: Soft dropped shoulders, and curved hemlines (for a nice finish).

How to wear it: Tucked (or not) into high-waisted jeans—straight, skinny, or wide-leg all work (yay for versatility!).

Short Sleeve Floral Tops

Why we like short sleeves: All the finesse of a traditional blouse, but warm-weather friendly and a little more casual. This is your go-anywhere topper.

Details we look for: Loose, comfortable sleeves.

How to wear it: We happen to love this for the office with tailored pants or jeans (try a nice straight leg in white or ecru), but it pairs equally well with more casual denim and any footwear you prefer.
