Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for your continued support. We hope the holidays bring you so much joy and that you’re able to see friends and family and celebrate your holiday with the traditions that are meaningful to you.
Since most of us have gift giving (and receiving!) top of mind, we offer you a few ideas from our very own lists. And since we’re a 100% women-operated team, our take for this guide was “Mothers & Daughters.”

- Where I Live: Weston, MA
- Favorite holiday tradition: Attending the Christmas eve Boston Pops matinee and then going for an early dinner at a fun Boston restaurant
- What Gift Are You Giving: I’m giving my daughter a TV for her apartment
- What Gift do You Want: For a BIG splurge, I’ve been eyeing a new Cartier watch! For something more reasonable, I’d like Ugg slippers. I’ll probably get these slippers!
SUSAN
- Name: Susan

- Role at Six to Sunday: Editor in Chief
- Where I Live: New York, NY
- Favorite Holiday Tradition: Hosting a Hanukkah party! Even though my kids are grown we still do it–we make potato latkes, put on cheesy music, exchange small gifts, light the candles, and say the blessings.
- What Gift Are You Giving: My younger daughter will get new headphones (so she stops borrowing mine!), and my older daughter will get fluffy Birkenstocks (also so she stops borrowing mine!).
- What Gift Do You Want: I’d like to add another travel charm to my collection (I’m thinking about the Rome luggage tag), from one of my favorite brands, Jet Set Candy.
GINGER

- Where I Live: Powell, OH
- Favorite Holiday Tradition: Snapping a photo of my kids sitting on the stairs Christmas morning, anxiously waiting to be allowed to see what the big man brought for them.
- What Gift Are You Giving: My daughter and her friends are obsessed with all things Lululemon, this swift tech is a great winter piece to add to her collection.
- What Gift Do You Want: My go-to drink is Prosecco and these coupe cocktail glasses from CB2 are at the top of my wishlist this year.
RACHEL

- Where I Live: Miami, FL
- Favorite Holiday Tradition: Making creamed pearl onions. Our family forms a production line for this involved recipe, which is just hilarious. Someone blanches, someone peels, someone cuts the “x” on the bottoms of the onions, and someone slowly cooks the roux. Of course, the entire thing wouldn’t be complete without champagne.
- What Gift Are You Giving: I am giving my mother a favorite candle/scent I discovered this year from DS & Durga, Big Sur After Rain. Expensive candles are something everyone loves but never seem to buy for themselves.
- What Gift Do You Want: Lunya makes the best sleeping masks, and I’ve been eyeing my favorite style in their new silk fabric.
DESTINY

- Role: Creative Manager
- Where I Live: Atlanta, GA
- Favorite Holiday Tradition: My favorite holiday tradition has to be putting up Christmas decorations the day after Thanksgiving! I know that there may be a little controversy around when one “should” put up decorations, and I understand. The sooner we put up decorations, the sooner we feel the holiday cheer. (But this girl likes to wait a little bit - it gives me something to look forward to!).
- What Gift Are You Giving: I’m giving my sister a piece that I discovered via the Six to Sunday Newsletter! It’s a cute shearling tote bag.
- What Gift Do You Want: I love going to events! I’m hoping for either concert or NBA game tickets for 2023.
ALEX

- Where I Live: Murrieta, CA
- Favorite Holiday Tradition: Waiting until everyone is present to open our gifts! Ever since I was little, my parents had a rule that everyone in the family (all my siblings!) had to be awake before we could touch anything. That rule still applies as we’ve gotten older. There’s something extra special about seeing the expressions on everyone’s faces as we unwrap the thoughtful Christmas presents we’ve handpicked for each other.
- What Gift Are You Giving: I am giving my mother a gorgeous leather shoulder bag from Coach that is both beautiful and functional.
- What Gift Do You Want: Perfume! I love the Viktor Rolf scent Flower Bomb.
