Every season new trends emerge, and you wouldn’t be human if you didn’t feel the temptation to add a boost to your wardrobe.
It’s all so seductive—new styles, new shapes, new colors—but the challenge is choosing wisely and embracing the trends that suit your body and your lifestyle.
With all the noise out there, this is not easy—we know—so here’s our guide to what’s novel and noteworthy in fashion this spring. The one guiding principle we want you to follow? If it doesn’t feel right to YOU, skip it.
Cobalt Blue. Navy’s brighter cousin is big this spring, and best of all it’s an easy color to wear. It pairs beautifully with neutrals, pops against white, and adds subtle dimension to all the denim in your wardrobe. One of our favorite ways to integrate it? Try a spring-forward sweater. Sheer Fabric. You’ll find sheer fabrics in everything from formal wear to athletic wear—sheer inserts, sheer over layers, sheer sleeves. Not only is sheer lightweight and breathable, but it’s also incredibly sexy while still maintaining coverage. While the color spectrum on this style is WILD this year, we’re eyeing classic styles with just the right amount of peek-a-boo.
Milky Nails. Pale, creamy, milky white shades are all the rage this spring. The color is great for every day, it goes with everything, and it looks chic on any nail shape.
The Pouch Bag. There are some amazing bag styles this season (you can find our favorites are here) but one of the best is the drawstring bag. We love the versatility of this bag, and we love its casual chic appeal. It’s good in a clutch style, but we can’t help being seduced by the practicality of a version that’s cross-body and one that’s big enough to use every day. For those more classic in style, look for leathers in muted colors and neutrals that can nest seamlessly into your wardrobe. For those wanting adventure, try raffia.

Loafers. If you like comfort, you’re in the golden years of fashion: Flat shoes are IN and the humble loafer is one of the stars of the show. From the minimalist mule to a chunky lug sole, there is a style for everyone. Our advice? Skip basic black and instead lean into spring color palettes with ivory and beige or a pop of saturated color. We know you like wearing chic sneakers, but a loafer is a belt notch above that, stylistically speaking, and just as comfy.
